Despite declining commodity prices\, coal continues to be an important export product\, and the demand for plants and machinery is correspondingly high. \nAbout UGOL ROSSII & MINING 2016:\nUGOL ROSSII & MINING 2016 featured around 500 exhibitors from 25 countries\, showcasing their innovative products on 12\,000 sqm of net exhibition space. The exhibiting nations included Russia\, Australia\, China\, Denmark\, Germany\, Finland\, France\, the United Kingdom\, Israel\, Italy\, Japan\, Canada\, Kazakhstan\, Kyrgyzstan\, Norway\, Austria\, Poland\, Sweden\, Switzerland\, Spain\, South Korea\, the Czech Republic\, Ukraine\, Belarus and the United States. Among the international exhibitors\, Germany was represented by the largest number of companies – 58 in all – at the Kuzbass Fair Exhibition Center. Berg- und Hüttenmännischer Tag DESCRIPTION:„Ressourcen effizient erkunden\, gewinnen\, aufbereiten und recyceln“ \nDer Berg- und Hüttenmännische Tag (BHT) ist eine Konferenz\, die im Jahr 1949 von einigen Studenten\, unter ihnen W. Arnold und O. Wagenbreth\, die etwas über ihren eigenen Studiengang hinaus lernen wollten\, ins Leben gerufen wurde. Zu dieser Veranstaltung sollten Vertreter der Bergbau- und Hüttenindustrie eingeladen werden\, um von diesen etwas über die Situation in der Praxis zu erfahren sowie zum Knüpfen von Kontakten für den späteren Einsatz in der Praxis. Von dieser Initiative ausgehend\, entwickelte sich der BHT zur wissenschaftlichen Hauptveranstaltung unserer Universität\, welche dazu beitragen soll\, den fachlichen Wissensstand zu erweitern\, neue Kontakte zu knüpfen und bestehende Kooperationen auszubauen. Mit seinen zahlreichen Kolloquien soll er die Breite des fachlichen Profils der Hochschule widerspiegeln und als bewährtes Podium die Vertreter aus Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft zum Gedankenaustausch zusammenführen.
