With decreasing ore grades\, increasing capital and labor costs\, and ever-increasing regulations and stakeholder expectations\, running a productive mining operation has not become less challenging. \nAchieving high performance requires understanding the levers for productivity and how it can be tracked and measured. Secondly\, once measurable\, to improve operations requires good mine plans\, good management and operational practices to execute the plans\, and\, most certainly\, outstanding technology as an enabler of productive resource extraction. \nThe High Performance Mining Conference will look at different levers for improving productivity to achieve high performance mining in today’s changing and challenging socio-economic environment.
