Um bergbaubedingte Gefährdungspotenziale zu minimieren\, ist zukunftsgerichtetes Handeln aller beteiligten Akteure erforderlich. Unternehmen\, Behörden und Wissenschaft haben erkannt\, dass präventiv zu agieren ist\, um Risiken des Altbergbaus langfristig beherrschbar zu machen.
