This event is a continuation of the Old Mining Colloquia\, which took place almost every year between 2001 and 2024 in Freiberg\, Clausthal/Goslar\, Leoben\, Aachen\, Wroclaw\, Krakow\, Gelsenkirchen and Essen\, each of which attracted a large number of visitors. \nThe colloquium is aimed at employees from the fields of geotechnics\, mine surveying\, mining\, geology and civil engineering from authorities\, engineering offices and teaching and research institutions. With more than 3\,800 experts from over 20 countries\, it is one of the world’s leading and largest events in the tunnel sector and brings together the entire value chain of the tunnel industry for professional exchange. \nThe presentations will be given bilingually (simultaneous translation English/German) on November 25 and 26 covering most recent topics. In addition to the segment “Tunnelling” in a separate room lectures are dedicated to “Tunnel Operation/Planning”. \nOn November 25 and 26\, an accompanying exhibition will take place at the conference venue.
