KG, Essen\/Germany, an independent, global engineering and consulting company, launched the newest model of the GYROMAT series at INTERGEO 2024: the GYROMAT 6000 (Figure 1), the most accurate gyroscope measuring system for high-precision surveys, such as tunnel construction or shipbuilding. The GYROMAT 6000 is the most accurate surveying gyroscope in the world as it reliably points north and compensates for potential sources of error like refraction, error propagation or even plumb line errors when determining direction from a shaft and delivering measurement results with an accuracy of 0.8\/1000th of a gon.
