The 7th BDI Raw Materials Congress will take place on 20 October 2022 at the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT), in the heart of Berlin.<\/p>\n

A secure and sustainable supply of raw materials is a prerequisite for the success of the green and digital transformation of the economy and society. It is therefore of enormous importance for Germany as an industrialised country.<\/p>\n

The Russian war of aggression on Ukraine also represents a turning point for the supply of raw materials. In the case of energy raw materials, Germany’s dependence on imports becomes painfully clear. However, the dependence on many mineral raw materials from China is already greater than that on oil and natural gas from Russia.<\/p>\n

Together with representatives from politics, industry, science and civil society, the BDI will be discussing at #RoKo22 how the supply of raw materials for German industry can succeed sustainably even after the turn of the millennium.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
