SUMMARY:Erneuerbare Energien und Rohstoffwirtschaft vernetzt denken! (online)

SUMMARY:MINExpo INTERNATIONAL® 2020 is Postponed Until Sept. 2021
DESCRIPTION:The National Mining Association (NMA)\, the MINExpo INTERNATIONAL® 2020 (Show) sponsor\, has made its highest priority the health\, well-being and safety of exhibitors\, attendees\, stakeholders and their respective families and colleagues\, as well as our event partners in Las Vegas. The advance of COVID-19 around the world has made holding the Show in September 2020 impracticable under the circumstances. \nTherefore\, in the best interests of all concerned MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2020\, will not be held September 28-30\, 2020 in Las Vegas due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Show\, which is typically held every four years\, will be postponed until September 2021. Our current plan is to hold MINExpo INTERNATIONAL® 2021 in Las Vegas.  We are working with our event partners to identify and secure the necessary exhibition facilities and hotel accommodations in Las Vegas for a successful MINExpo INTERNATIONAL 2021. Once the logistical arrangements have been confirmed the new dates will be announced.  We hope to have this information to you in the near future. \nWe know MINExpo exhibitors and attendees have many questions concerning the postponement\, and we will continue to update the website as additional information becomes available. \nThank you for your incredible support\, cooperation and patience as we work through this rescheduling process\, and for your continued engagement with NMA and participation in MINExpo International. Stay safe and be well.

SUMMARY:22.

SUMMARY:IMRC USA 2021
DESCRIPTION:The concept of training through competition has been a mainstay of mine rescue organizations around the world for decades\, while the philosophy of nations learning from each other has been the foundation of international competition since the inaugural International Mines Rescue Competition in 1999. \nThe original initiative for international competitions came from Poland in the aftermath of the February 1998 tragedy that claimed the lives of six Polish mine rescuers. The same tragedy led to the creation of the International Mines Rescue Body\, which continues to meet every two years to promote mine rescue and to improve mine rescue knowledge and practices by supporting global cooperation. \nThe IMRC has grown in size and importance since Poland\, Ukraine\, Russia and Canada were represented at the first IMRC in Louisville\, Kentucky. The competition was organized by the United States Mine Safety and Health Administration and won by an American team. \nTwenty-one teams representing 13 nations\, including Canada\, Russia\, China\, Poland\, Australia and other major mining nations\, competed at the 9th IMRC in Katowice\, Poland in 2014. Other major mining countries\, including the United States\, Ukraine\, and Germany were represented by observers and guests. \nIn August 2016\, approximately 27 teams representing 13 nations continued the tradition of learning from each other at the 10th International Mines Rescue Competition in Sudbury\, Canada. \nThe 11th International IMRC took place in Yekaterinburg\, Russia in September 2018 with 25 teams from 12 nations gathering to compete. Every continent where mining actively takes place had at least one team competing.
