    Following the restructuring of RWE Deutschland AG, Essen, former CEO Arndt Neuhaus left the company on 31st January 2016. CFO Bernd Böddeling has taken on the responsibilities of the CEO until further notice.

    On 1st August 2016, Lars Kulik, currently responsible for lignite planning at RWE Power AG, will become Executive Board member of RWE Generation SE and its subsidiary, RWE Power AG, both based in Essen. He will replace Ulrich Hartmann, who is retiring, and will take over his responsibility for lignite and hydropower. Responsibility for nuclear power will be handed over to Roger Miesen, Executive Board member of RWE Generation SE, who will also be appointed to the Executive Board of RWE Power AG.

    RWE AG, Essen, has replaced the head of N-Power, its British green energy subsidiary. Paul Coffey, who had only been chief operating officer (COO) and member of the N-Power board since 1st April 2015, is now head of the company, having taken over from Paul Massara. The previous CFO, Jens Madrian, has also left the company. His position has been filled by Martin Miklas, who is the former CFO of RWE Polska. The new COO at N-Power is Dirk Simons, who used to be the CFO at RWE Innogy.

    Sabine Jeschke took over as head of the RWE AG press office in mid-February 2015. Jeschke was previously head of communications at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, an RWE subsidiary also based in Essen.

    At its meeting on 4 March 2015, the supervisory board of RWE AG Essen decided ahead of time to extend the contract of its CEO, Peter Terium, until 2021.
