The new spokesman for VDMA Arbeitsgemeinschaft Großanlagenbau is Rainer Hauenschild, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Energy Solutions at Siemens AG. His deputies will be Jürgen Nowicki, Member of the Board of Management for the Engineering Division at Linde AG, and Dieter Rosenthal, Member of the Board of Management at SMS SIEMAG AG.

Matthias Zelinger became energy policy spokesman for the German Engineering Association (VDMA) in Frankfurt am Main on 1 March 2015. He is also continuing in his role as managing director of VDMA Power Systems.

Thilo Brodtmann has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) with effect from 1 February 2015, thereby replacing Dr Hannes Hesse who retired on 31 January 2015. Mr Brodtmann has been Assistant Managing Director at the VDMA since 2001.
