50Hertz

On 14th February 2019, the supervisory board of electricity transmission system operator 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, Berlin/Germany, appointed Technical Manager Frank Golletz as Interim CEO in addition to his duties as CTO. On 1st March 2019, Golletz succeeded former Chairman of the Executive Board, Boris Schucht. Schucht left the company at the end of February to pursue new career opportunities. Decision-making bodies at 50Hertz intend to appoint a permanent successor to Schucht as CEO in the coming months.
