At its meeting on 17th December 2020, the Supervisory Board of RWE Power AG, Essen/Germany, appointed Kemo RazaÂnica with effect from 1st February 2021 as RWE Power AG’s HR Director and Labor Director for a period of three years. At its meeting on28th April 2020, the Supervisory Board of RWE AG, Essen/Germany, decided that Markus Krebber is to succeed Rolf Martin Schmitz as CEO of RWE as of 1st July 2021. The formal decision on the appointment of Krebber as CEO of RWE by 1st July 2021 will be passed the Supervisory Board at a later date. The succession for Krebber as CFO of RWE will be decided by the Supervisory Board in due course. This also applies to the decision on the succession of Schmitz in his role as CHO and Labor Director of RWE, that he will continue to perform in personal union until 30th June 2021.

Following the divestiture of RWE subsidiary Innogy and its merger with renewable energy company E.ON SE, Anja-Isabel Dotzenrath, currently CEO of E.ON Climate and Renewables, will lead the Renewable Energies division of RWE SE, Essen/Germany. Former head of the Renewables division of Innogy, Hans Bünting, will no longer be a member of the management team.

At the beginning of March 2018, Christoph Schlechter assumed the role of Manager for the RWE Generation SE, Essen/Germany, power stations in Werne and Hamm. He succeeds Ralf Heitmüller, who managed the Gersteinwerk power station in Werne until his retirement, and Stefan Laarmann, former manager of the Westfalen station in Hamm, who has left the company.

The Supervisory Board of RWE Power AG, Essen /Germany, has officially appointed the Deputy Head of HR at RAG AG, Kemo Razanica, to its Management Board with effect from 1st April 2018. On 1st July 2018, Razanica will take up the role of Chief Human Resources Officer and Labour Director, succeeding Erwin Winkel who is retiring.

As a result of the reduced size of the Executive Board at RWE AG in Essen/Germany – which now consists of Rolf Martin Schmitz, CEO, and CFO Markus Krebber – Krebber resigned from his office as CEO of RWE Supply & Trading on 31st May 2017, which he performed in addition to his existing duties. As a Member of the Executive Board at RWE he is now responsible for energy trade while also being appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board at RWE Supply & Trading. Markus Krebber‘s former responsibilities in the management of RWE Supply & Trading are now shared among the remaining Managing Directors. CFO Michael Müller is now also responsible for Legal Services/Compliance and HR. Andree Stracke, Chief Commercial Officer Origination & Gas Supply, has also taken on the Corporate Affairs division. The Management Board also includes Peter Krembel (CCO Trading) and Tom Glover (CCO Commercial Asset Optimisation). The four Managing Directors shall jointly lead the company.

Rolf-Martin Schmitz has been the new Chairman of the Board of RWE AG. Essen/Germany, since 15th October. Markus Krebber was appointed Chief Financial Officer. Following the IPO of innogy SE, the former Chairman of the Board of RWE, Peter Terium, became the company’s Chairman of the Board. RWE’s former Chief Financial Officer, Bernhard Günther, has also moved to innogy SE in the same role. Uwe Tigges will initially serve as CHO for both companies.

The future subsidiary (NewCo) of RWE AG, Essen/Germany, responsible for renewable energies, grids and sales in Germany and abroad, will have six board members: The CEO of RWE AG, Peter Terium, will hold the same position in the new subsidiary, with Bernhard Günther as CFO and Uwe Tigges as CHO and Labour Director. Hildegard Müller, former Chairwoman of the General Executive Management Board of the German Association of Energy and Water Industries (BDEW), became Chief Operating Officer Grid on 1st May 2016. Martin Herrmann, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of RWE East, became Chief Operating Officer Retail and Hans Bünting,
former CEO of RWE Innogy GmbH, became Chief Operating Officer Renewables, both as of 1st April.The current Head of Group Controlling at RWE AG in Essen/Germany, Michael Müller, will be the new CFO of the Group’s trading subsidiary, RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, with effect from September 2016. In addition, Alan Robinson, currently responsible for Commercial Asset Optimisation, will be leaving RWE Supply & Trading. He will be succeeded by Tom Glover, who is currently responsible for CAO in the UK.
