On 1st May 2018, Gretchen Watkins, former CEO of Maersk Oil, made the move to Royal Dutch Shell. At the company’s base in The Hague/Netherlands, she will take over the duties of Greg Guidry, current Executive Vice President of Unconventionals, on 1st July 2018. At the end of this year, Watkins will succeed Bruce Culpepper, President and US Country Chair into office.
On 1st January 2016, Stijn van Els will become Chairman of the Management Board for Deutsche Shell Holding GmbH in Hamburg. He is taking over this role from Peter Blauwhoff, who is retiring. Van Els will simultaneously serve as Managing Director of Shell Deutschland Oil GmbH.
