FAB General Assembly and Argentina Conference

The transition towards a sustainable economy is gaining momentum, while simultaneously, rising geopolitical tensions are amplifying uncertainty concerning energy provisioning. Securing access to the critical minerals within Argentina’s possession becomes paramount in shaping new value chains.
In that sense, The Argentine Embassy, the German Mineral Resources Agency (DERA) at the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) and the German Federation of International Mining (FAB) in the VRB e. V., are organizing a conference workshop on current potentials in the Argentine mining and mineral resources industry and cooperation with German companies on December 14, 2023. The event is scheduled to take place after the annual general meeting of FAB. Member companies and guests of Argentina, DERA and FAB, guests from federal and state ministries, members of other associations and other interested companies will be brought together to discuss current issues in German-Argentinean cooperation in the mining and raw materials sector.
