Wolfgang Mücher is to become the new Chief Financial Officer at EWE AG in Oldenburg on 1st April 2016. The Finance Department is being headed temporarily and concurrently by EWE Chairman of the Board Matthias Brückmann, who assumed the position in October 2015.

Prof. Dr. Franz-Josef Wodopia is to leave his position as Managing Director and Chief Executive of Gesamtverband Steinkohle e. V. (GVSt) in Herne on 31st December 2015. The company’s new Chief Executive will be lawyer Michael Weberink, who has been a Member of the Management Board at GVSt since March 2015.

Christoph Bender, the former Head of Energy Policy at the Mineral Oil Trade Association (MWV), Hamburg, has been a Member of the Management Board since January.

On 1st January 2016 Dirk Klingen became Managing Director of the STEAG New Energies GmbH, Saarbrücken. He follows to Stephan Nahrath, who changed to Westfalen Weser Energy GmbH & Co. KG in Paderborn/Germany at the end of 2015.

Prof. Dr. Franz-Josef Wodopia became Managing Director of the Association of Coal Importers (VDKI), Hamburg, on 1st January 2016. He therefore succeeds lawyer Dr. Erich Schmitz, who has retired.

Annette Loske, Managing Director of the Association of the Energy and Power Industry (VIK) e. V., Essen, has left the organization at the end of 2015. Barbara Minderjahn, who has been a member of the board too, will lead the association for the time being.

Wintershall Holding GmbH, based in Kassel, has expanded its Board of Management and also appointed Thilo Wieland from the Department of Exploration & Production in Russia, North Africa and South America to the Supervisory Board.
