Guido Hesse (50) has taken charge of Customer Support at the BEUMER Group headquarters in Beckum/Germany, recently. As the new director, he controls and coordinates the global centre of competence and defines, together with his team, the technical and organisational principles of services and support for the BEUMER products.

Jochen Flasbarth took charge of the federally owned BGZ Gesellschaft für Zwischenlagerung mbH in Essen/Germany, founded in March, on the 1st November 2017. He is fulfilling his duties without salary in parallel with his civil service role as State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB).

Michael Riechel, Chair of the Thüga AG Management Board, has been elected the new President of the Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches (DVGW), Bonn/Germany.

Stefan Dohler, former CFO of Vattenfall AB, has been appointed Chair of the Board of Management by the Supervisory Board of EWE AG, Oldenburg/Germany. Dohler will take office at the earliest possible date and at the latest by 1st April 2018.

At the suggestion of the Russian government, former Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schröder was first appointed to the Supervisory Board of petroleum company Rosneft, Moscow/Russia, on 29th September 2017 and then elected Chair.

Thomas Gößmann replaced Axel Botzenhardt on 1st September 2017 as Chair of the Management Board of Thyssengas GmbH, Dortmund/Germany. He also holds the post of Commercial Director and is in charge of the company together with Bernd Dahmen.

Anna Borg succeeded Stefan Dohler on 1st November 2017 as the CFO of Vattenfall AB, Solna/Sweden. She was previously the director of the Markets business area.

The Shareholders’ Committee of Voith Management GmbH, Heidenheim/Germany, has decided on a successor for long-standing President of the Corporate Board of Management, Hubert Lienhard.
