A number of changes have taken place in the composition and functions of PAO Gazprom, Moscow/Russia.
Oleg Aksyutin has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee in charge of strategic development, long-term planning, project planning, the shaping and monitoring of the investment program, and procurement activities of Gazprom. Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee, will oversee production operations, including hydrocarbon exploration, production, transportation, underground storage, processing and sales in the domestic market, the power sector, and interaction with governmental authorities. Elena Burmistrova has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee in charge of foreign trade activities, including trade in the CIS countries. At the same time, she will retain her position as head of Gazprom Export. Igor Fedorov has been appointed Managing Director of Gazprom Germania GmbH.
