Geert van Poelvoorde, Executive Vice President and CEO of ArcelorMittal Flat Carbon Europe S. A., Luxembourg, has been the new President of the European Steel Association (EUROFER), the European association of steel manufacturers, since December 2015.

Axel Eggert replaced Gordon Moffat as Director General of the European Steel Association, EUROFER, on 1 October 2014. Mr Eggert was formerly Director of Public Relations and Communications at EUROFER from 2007 to September 2014.
