Klaus Freytag, former Head of Brandenburg State Mining office (Landesbergamt Brandenburg) and, since 2015, Head of the Energy and Raw Materials Department at the Ministry for Economic Affairs of the State of Brandenburg, was named by Minister-President Dietmar Woidke (SPD) as the new coordinator for Lusatia at the State Chancellery. Freytag has his office in Cottbus.
