Tiefenbach acquires additional 49 % shares in the Tiefenbach-Polska Spółka z o.o. from Famur S.A.

Within its international business orientation Tiefenbach Control Systems GmbH, Bochum/Germany, has acquired additional 49 % of the shares in the Tiefenbach-Polska Spółka z o.o. from Famur-Group. Hereby Tiefenbach Control Systems GmbH controls 100 % of the shares in the company.

Tiefenbach-Polska Spółka z o.o., with its 20 employees and around 3 m € annual turnover, is a service and distribution company based in Radzionków. The product portfolio includes hydraulic shield controls, hose line services as well as pump units and systems.

At the same time Tiefenbach Control Systems GmbH and Famur S. A. have signed a contract for the delivery of an electro-hydraulic control system with a value of 1.9 m €. The system, together with the shield supports type FRS Glinik 10/25, will be delivered in April 2018 to the final customer, ArcelorMittal Kazakhstan mine Tentekskaya (Figure 1).

With this contract Tiefenbach Control Systems GmbH was able to obtain project orders for more than 10.1 m € in the current quarter only and further strengthened its position as the world market leader for electro-hydraulic control units in the mining sector. The major part of this value originates from orders of the customers in Mexico, China, Kazakhstan, Poland and Turkey.
