Material conveyance is characteristic of any activity in the field of raw material extraction and processing. The integral role of conveyance in the success of companies in the field of raw material extraction and processing is the motivation for the colloquium „ Fördertechnik im Bergbau”.

The 10th Colloquium “Fördertechnik im Bergbau” which takes place on the 26th and 27th of April 2022 is organized by the Department of Underground Mining Methods and Machinery at the Institute of Mining of the TU Clausthal.

This colloquium gives a forum for presentation of all types of continuous and discontinuous materials handling technologies used in the extraction of raw materials, such as belt conveyors, chain conveyors, track-bound and trackless vehicles, shaft conveyors and, in a broader sense, crushers, bunkers and storage systems.

After a very difficult 2020 we are happy to announce that the coloquium is planned to be in presence and we expect to welcome more than 300 participants from various fields of mining and tunneling as well as materials handling technology in the next year.
