Wolf Merkel started work as the full-time Member of the Board of Management responsible for water at the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW) in Bonn on 3rd February 2020. Merkel had been unanimously appointed at a committee meeting in November 2019. His division of the Management Board also includes responsibility for several support functions and DVGW subsidiaries. Merkel and the Chairman of the Board of Management Prof. Gerald Linke now form the dual leadership of the DVGW.
