The metropolis Moscow is the most important economic centre of Russia and at the same time the most important fairscene of the country. There are good chances for business contacts. Thus the family company Engineering DOBERSEK from the Lower Rhine also has taken part in the three day long XXI. international trade fair for mining, mining research and mining equipment in Moscow (Figure 1).

In the German pavilion, the company presented, among other things, the proven high-tech systems ContiClass® and ContiSmelt as a part of the joint appearance of the German exhibitors, using models as well as a monitor presentation – its performance spectrum.

Visitors were particularly interested in the ContiSmelt model, which illustrated the recent modernization of the copper smelter of the mining and metallurgical company Almalyk in Uzbekistan. The family company, which is based in Moenchengladbach/Germany, was responsible for the complete implementation of this major project from its beginnings to the turnkey delivery.
