At the beginning of March 2018, Christoph Schlechter assumed the role of Manager for the RWE Generation SE, Essen/Germany, power stations in Werne and Hamm. He succeeds Ralf Heitmüller, who managed the Gersteinwerk power station in Werne until his retirement, and Stefan Laarmann, former manager of the Westfalen station in Hamm, who has left the company.

On 1st September 2018, Manon van Beek assumes the position of Chairperson of the Board of Executives for Tennet Holding B. V., based in Arnheim/Netherlands. As of 1st March 2018, Franck Maurin became the new Managing Director of Total Energie Gas GmbH, based in Fellbach/Germany. He succeeds Vincent Colson, who assumed the role on a transitional basis in October 2017 in addition to his responsibilities in the Finance, HR and Legal departments.

On 1st January 2018, Karsten Specht became the new Vice President of the German Association of Local Utilities (VKU) in Berlin/Germany. He takes over from Michael Beckereit, who retired at the end of 2017.

Ludwig Möhring, Dmitry Kotulskiy and Vitaly Vasiliev are no longer Managing Directors of Wingas GmbH, the Kassel-based subsidiary of Gazprom. The new Managing Directors have been named as Lavrenty Pilyagin and Slawa Margulis.

Andreas Scheck has taken the decision to leave Wintershall Deutschland, Kassel/Germany, to pursue a new challenge in his career. Volker Riha, previously Head of Self-operated Crude Oil and Natural Gas Production and deputy to Scheck, has assumed the managerial role provisionally.

The Management Board of the DMT Group in Essen/Germany expanded on 1st January 2018. Prof. Eiko Räkers (CEO) and Ulrich Pröpper are joined on the Management Board by Maik Tiedemann and Jens-Peter Lux. Tiedemann was until recently a division manager for MAN Diesel & Turbo. Urban Keussen, former Deputy Chair of the Management Board at Dutch transmission system operator TenneT, is moving to EWE AG in Oldenburg/Germany, where he is scheduled to take up his role as Chief Technology Officer on 1st March 2018. On 31st December 2017, Werner Brandt stepped down as Chair of the Supervisory Board of innogy SE, Essen/Germany. His successor has provisionally been named as Erhard Schipporeit, former Chief Financial Officer at E.ON. On 19th December 2017, innogy parted ways with its Chair of the Management Board, Peter Terium. The Supervisory Board will appoint his successor in due course.

Members of the Institute for Heat and Oil Technology (IWO) in Hamburg/Germany elected Holger Mark, Managing Director of Deutsche AVIA Mineralöl-GmbH, onto its Board of Management. Mark succeeds Stefan Brok, who had left the Board of Management.
