Then come along and see Komatsu at the Steinexpo trade fair from 23-26 August, at the Mitteldeutsche Hartstein-Industrie AG quarry in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden!
Alongside leading construction machinery manufacturers, suppliers of processing technology, additional equipment and service providers, the trade fair portfolio will be further complemented by industry innovations and service ranges. This year you will find Komatsu literally “in the thick of it” at demo area A of Steinexpo – the trade fair for the raw and building materials industry, held in Europe’s largest basalt quarry.
Komatsu will provide you with fascinating insights into the latest products and technologies at stand A4, with a focus on the quarry and extraction industry.
Exhibits will include systems such as Smart Quarry Site, the OEM-independent fleet management system for efficient and safe quarry operations. Furthermore, Komatsu experts will present Smart Construction solutions, including the Smart Construction Fleet System, which is equally suited for use in the quarry and on the construction site – even for mixed machine fleets.
In its commercial relationships, Komatsu is clearly focussed on its role as a value-added partner and this is the impetus behind the Komatsu driver training courses with innovative technologies, which form part of the trade fair presence.

But the machines themselves – as the centrepiece of any trade fair stand – are of course an absolute must. As a true full-range provide, we will therefore be presenting a broad cross-section of the Komatsu product spectrum – from the HM400 articulated dump truck, to the BR380JG mobile jaw crusher, the HB365 hybrid excavator, the WA475 wheel loader, the D61PXi dozer with second-generation intelligent machine control ex factory, as well as the PW180 wheeled excavator developed and produced in Hanover and the WA100 compact wheel loader.
In addition to being present on the stand, the WA600-8 wheel loader and an HD605-8 dump truck will be in action in the daily live demo show.
“Up close and in direct contact with customers, we will again be on location in 2023 at the eleventh Steinexpo trade fair”, says Marco Maschke, head of the German office of Komatsu Europe International N.V., “planning for the trade fair is in full swing, we have also already ordered the best summer weather – now all we need is you!”, he says, looking forward to the upcoming trade fair in August.
