Since 1st October 2019 Marcel Tiedeken has been managing the Mining Damage division in the service area Location and Geo Services of RAG Aktiengesellschaft, Essen/Germany, and succeeds Roland Pawlicki, who went to Adjustment. Christian Müller, Head of the Service Department, assists him as deputy.

Ulf Kerstin, previously Head of Portfolio Management & M&A at RWE AG, Essen/Germany, became Chief Commercial Officer of RWE Generation and RWE Supply & Trading on 1st October 2019. His predecessor Tom Glover moved to the management of the new RWE Renewables, where as Chief Commercial Officer he is responsible for marketing electricity production from renewable energies.

The Technical University Georg Agricola (THGA), Bochum/Germany, appointed Peter Schrimpf as honorary senator for his excellent accomplishments as patron of the university. A special honour was bestowed on the CEO of RAG Aktiengesellschaft and long-standing Chairman of the University Council. He is only the third honorary senator in the university’s history – the title was last awarded in 2002.

The Managing Director of the Association of German Municipal Enterprises VKU e.V., Katherina Reiche, will leave the association at the end of 2019. She is moving to a management role within E.ON SE.

On 13th August 2019, Kerstin Andreae was appointed by the Chair of the Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft e. V.
